Dimapur, February 17 (NEx): The Meghalaya Government on Tuesday cut the fuel price further to offer relief to consumers in the State, informed Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad Sangma. This is the second time Meghalaya reduced the fuel price in a week.
Earlier, Meghalaya Government reduced the Petrol, Diesel prices by Rs 2 per litre with effective from midnight of February 8th, 2021. On Tuesday, Government offers further reduction on the petrol price by Rs.5.4 per litre and diesel by Rs. 5.1 per litre, informed Chief Minister of Meghalaya.
Taking to twitter, Sangma said that, ‘In addition to the previous rebate of Rs. 2 per litre, Government has decided to reduce the petrol price further by Rs.5.4 per litre and diesel by Rs. 5.1 per litre to offer relief to consumers of Meghalaya with slight variations in other Districts.’

According to Indian Oil Corporation website, the petrol price in Shillong is Rs 86.05 per litre and Diesel price is Rs 79.35 per litre on Wednesday, February 17, 2021.
