Railway Police arrest Woman drug peddler with Brown Sugar worth Rs 6 lacs in Agartala on January 21, 2021.

Dimapur, January 24 (NEx): The Railway Police Force (RPF) arrested a Woman drug peddler with Brown Sugar approximately worth Rs. 6 lacs in Agartala on January 21, 2021. During the interrogation it was revealed that, they have a good network in Myanmar – Manipur – Dimapur to Tripura and Mumbai.

Northeast Frontier Railway, on Saturday notified that, acting in a tip-off, RPF/Agartala alongwith GRP and SB of Tripura detained one lady with 16 packets of Brown sugar on the evening of January 21st, at Agartala Railway Station. The market value of the recovered item is about Rs 6 lakh (Approximately), it informed.

The 36 year old woman drug peddler belong to Hojai in Assam, travelled by the Silchar- Agartala special train. Her husband who accompanied her, managed to flee, NFR notified.

During interrogation it was revealed that, they have a good network in Myanmar – Manipur – Dimapur to Tripura and Mumbai, it said.
