NEZCC invites application for Young Talent Artistes Award 2019-20

Kohima, September 04 (NEx): The North East Zone Cultural Center, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, Dimapur through a press release invites application for Young Talent Artistes Award for the year 2019-2020 from outstanding candidates, talented/skilled in the categories of folk and tribal music/song and dance, theatre, dance, drama, mime, painting, wood, cane & Bamboo crafts, traditional handloom & handicrafts, pottery, etc.

Only young unmarried artistes/artisans in the age group of 18 to 30 years (as on 31st March 2021) are eligible to apply for the award. Also, the candidate should be an Indian citizen and indigenous to the 8 North Eastern States (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura), the press release informed.

The award consists of Rs.10,000 citation and memento. Deserving artistes/artisans may collect the application form from the office of the Directorate of Art & Culture/ Cultural affairs, GON. Further, the application form and other details are available on the website of NEZCC- www.nezccindia.org.in

The centre also informed that the last date to receive the application is on October 31st, 2020 and no application received thereafter will be entertained.
