Meghalaya Govt reduces Petrol, Diesel prices by Rs 2 per litre, as fuel prices hit a new record high

Dimapur, February 07 (NEx): Meghalaya Government reduced Petrol, Diesel prices by Rs 2 per litre effective from midnight of February 8th, 2021, informed the Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad Sangma.

Taking to twitter, Sangma said that, ‘in view of the recent price hike in petrol and diesel in Meghalaya, the Government has decided that the rate for both petrol and diesel will be reduced by Rs. 2/- per litre, effective from midnight of 8th February 2021.’

Retail prices of petrol and diesel hit a new record high in the country. According to Indian Oil Corporation website the petrol price in Shillong is Rs 90.85 per litre and that of Diesel is Rs 83.47 per litre on Sunday.

Fuel prices in Nagaland:

The petrol price in Dimapur is at Rs 89.35 per litre and Diesel at Rs 80.03 per litre, Indian Oil Corporation website updated. In Kohima district petrol price is at Rs 90. 27 per litre and Diesel at Rs 80.76 per litre. In Mon district petrol is at Rs 91.87 per litre and Diesel at Rs 82. 22 per litre.
