Kohima, August 02 (NEx): The Deputy Commissioner and Chairman District Task Force, Zunheboto, Peter Lichamo notified that total lockdown in the district shall be imposed every Wednesday and Friday from August 03 till further orders. Shop timings in other days will be from 07:00 Am to 04:00 PM, he added.
Further, Lichamo notified that individuals coming to Zunheboto from other districts shall remain under home quarantine isolation for a period of 7 days.
Meanwhile, Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom, today informed of 18 new COVID-19 positive cases in Zunheboto district. A total of 30 COVID positive cases has been reported so far in Zunheboto, of which, 5 patients recovered from COVID-19, the active cases in the district now stands at 25.
Revised guidelines issued in Zunheboto:
The District Task Force Zunheboto and ZCMC held a meeting on Saturday, August 01, 2020, and resolved to enforce the revised guidelines in the district with effect from August 03, 2020 till further order.
The DTF Zunheboto decided that inter district travellers coming into Zunheboto should compulsorily produce Medical Fitness Certificate with movement permit from the authorities of the concerned districts, and those travelling without proper documents shall not be allowed to enter the district.
Proper wearing of face masks and maintenance of social distancing shall continue, defaulters shall be penalized as per the standing order, DC Zunheboto warned.
