Youngsters shows the way by donating for Covid19

Dimapur, April 11 (NE): Many young ones are showing the way to give to needy at this time of pandemic. Keeping in mind that God loves a cheerful giver, many children either from their own piggy bank savings or other sources has innovatively come up in such times when humanity wants helping hands to survive the current situation.

The winner of ‘The Stage Nagaland- season one’, has not just won hearts through songs but through her gesture by contributing some amount from the prize money to fight against Covid-19. A notification in this regard came from a government source that an 11 year old, Mitela Sumi, student of Don Bosco Hr. Sec. School, Dimapur and winner of ‘The Stage Nagaland’ 2019 is donating a sum of Rs.7770 /- from her prize money for the fight against COVID-19.

“Mitela Sumi was declared the winner of ‘The Stage Nagaland Season 1’ finale beating 10 contestants during the finale held on December 10, 2019 at The Garden, Supermarket in Dimapur. She is the Daughter of Kashini Sumi, and won a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh with an opportunity for a music video.

This kind of Samaritan activities will help affected people in the state to get food & other basic necessities to live, and it is heartening to see such exemplary been setup in North East India.
