VWF distributes eatables to patients of Civil Hospital, Dimapur

Dimapur, January 15 (NE): The Vivekenanda Welfare Foundation, (VWF), Dimapur has distributed fruits and juices to the patients on January Twelve to mark it’s 5 years of charitable and philanthropic activities in different fields like Medical & Health, Education, Relief & Disaster manegement works, and Mass Empowerment, etc in the Service of Humanity on the auspicious occasion of Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda – the youth icon of the country.

According to a notification received here, the members of VWF distributed 120 packets of fruits and juice to all the bed ridden patients of Dimapur District Hospital (Civil Hospital) covering all the wards. The doctors and nurses appreciated the noble initiative taken by the NGO (VWF) on completion of 5 years of its various philanthropic activities in and around the city. The doctors said that the VWF celebrated it’s 5th Foundation Day in the most noblest way when the whole country is celebrating National Youth Day to commorate the 157th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The food distribution at civil hospital was initiated in presence of one of it’s patrons, Shri Raj Kumar Choudhury, official members like Mrs. Seema Bhowal , Shri Arijit Sharma and all the youth leaders and youth members of VWF after the morning session of National Youth Day celebration got over at Durga Mandir Auditorium, Dimapur.

The programme was successfully done by offering prayer to all the patients. VWF wishes all the patients a speedy recovery.
