UZYF calls for indefinite closure of all Govt. offices, vehicle movement & activities in Peren

Peren, April 12 (NEx): The United Zeliangrong Youth Federation (UZYF) in its Executive meeting held on Sunday, April 11th, 2021 resolved to stage an agitation on the April 13th, 2021 in protest against the Govt. of Nagaland for non-fulfilment of the charter of demand to book the culprits of the three victims of March 22nd, 2021 at Lamhainamdi Village under Peren, within 10 days.

The Federation media cell informed that it shall strike an indefinite closure of all Govt. offices, Govt. vehicular movement and activities of the Govt. in Peren District. It stated that defaulters shall be strictly dealt with stern action without prior caution.

However, it said that all business establishments, Para military and police official movement, educational institutions, medical service are exempted from the purview of the bandh.

The youth federation informed and appealed all civil society organizations in Peren District and state level to co-operate with the federation in its initiatives to assert the right to act with strong resentment over the apathy and indifferent attitude of the Government.
