Dimapur, January 29 (NE): As the curtain closes for North East Dr T Ao Trophy – one of the extravaganza sporting event of North East India at Nagaland state capital, Kohima on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, when everyone leaves with an excitement of witnessing a thriller grand finale, unseen real heroes of the North East Dr T Ao Trophy 2020 were seen very busy at the IG Stadium gallery cleaning up the mess left behind by the public.
A viral video of Indira Gandhi (IG) Academy girls, Kohima (mostly from different parts of Nagaland) is seen – cleaning up the stadium after the final match of North East Dr. T. Ao football Trophy 2020, are the real unseen heroes of the tournament. Back to back match for almost a week yet it was a memorable experience for spectators because of the contribution from these unseen heroes.
When all thought the show is over and it is time to leave, thats when these girls came into the scene with their dedicated efforts in picking up the litters and cleaning up the mess left by the spectators. Contribution from everyone is important in making a mega event like this a grand success.
It is worth mentioning that the short video has been taking rounds within few hours to many parts of North East India besides other states – galloping the beauty of Nagaland in matters of such cleanliness through various social media platforms.
