Two Nagaland Police Personnel conferred the Police Medal for Meritorious Service on Republic Day 2021

Dimapur, January 25 (NEx): On the occasion of Republic Day 2021, the Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday announced the list of the 946 police personnel across the country, who will be awarded the medals for gallantry, meritorious and distinguished services.

Two Nagaland Police officers will be awarded under the category of Police Medal for Meritorious Service (PM) on the occasion of Republic Day 2021 along with 648 others across the nation.

Rhovisie Nyuwi, Commandant 12th Nagaland Armed Police IR Battalion, Chingtok Longleng and Vipin Yhoshu, Inspector, DEF Mokokchung are the two officials being conferred with the Police Medal for Meritorious Service (PM), informed the MHA Press release on Monday.

A total of 926 police personnel has been awarded the prestigious police medals on the occasion of Republic Day 2021. Out of which, 2 police personnel have been selected for President’s Police Medal for Gallantry (PPMG), 205 police personnel for Police Medals for Gallantry (PMG) from across the country, 89 personnel for President’s Police Medals for Distinguished Service and 650 personnel for Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
