Dimapur, October 29, (NE): A two days industrial motivation campaign is currently being held today on October 29 at St. Joseph University (SJU), Dimapur under its Department of Economics (DoE), supported by Ministry of MSME (DI), Dimapur with Assistant Director (Electrical), MSME (DI), Dimapur Shri Sabarigiri M. as a Resource Person.
In the inaugural program, Director (Incharge) – Ministry of Medium, Small Scale, Enterprise (MSME), Development Institute (DI), Dimapur, Shri Tali Longchar gave the key note address as a special guest.
He encouraged the students particularly on entrepreneurship and highlighted the first important part as an entrepreneur is to acquire skill including knowledge, which the rest will be followed as per one’s interest.
He lamented that Nagaland must not be further a Non Performing Asset (NPA) state has per loan & banking is concerned. Thus, he said one has to familiarize with the banking system by having close relationship with the bankers to have good history on loan and others.
He also emphasized to learn the basics before real entrepreneurship.
Meanwhile, Head of Department under DoE, SJU, Dr. Debojit Konwar gave the welcome address followed by exhortation from Registrar, SJU, Dr. J. Robert Edwin Chester.
Other highlights included songs and in technical session the resource person took students through various phases in activities by creating several teams.
On day two, tomorrow, it will be comprised of technical sessions including interaction and certificate ceremony.
