Kohima, January 09 (NEx): American microblogging and social networking platform, Twitter Inc on Friday announced that it has permanently suspended the account of US President, Donald J Trump due to the risk of further incitement of violence.
After close review of recent Tweets from Donald J Trump (@realDonaldTrump) account and the context around them — specifically how they are being received and interpreted on and off Twitter — we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence, Twitter wrote in a statement.

It is the first time Twitter has banned a head of state, the company confirmed.
Earlier this week, Twitter has imposed a temporary ban on his account after riot on Capitol Hill. Twitter also warned of permanent suspension of his account.
The 45th President of the United States of America, Donald J Trump has over 88.7 million followers, ever since he joined the microblogging platform, Twitter on March 2009. In his final tweet, Trump said that he would not be attending the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden.
