Tuensang police launch 'Feedback Box' for people to register their complaints

Kohima, May 25 (NEx): The Tuensang police came up with an innovative solution “Feedback Box” to overcome the challenges faced by the citizens in registering their complaints due to the prevailing COVID-19 situation.

‘During this pandemic time, people are finding very difficult to register their complaints and share their problems with police. Thus crimes like domestic violence, theft etc are going unreported,’ Tuensang police said.

To address this problem, DEF Tuensang has come up with the initiative of “Feedback/Complaint/ suggestion box”. Citizens can now drop their complaints, suggestions, feedback or whatever they want to share with the police to these feedback boxes, Tuensang Police informed.

The Superintendent of Police, Tuensang, Amit Nigam, IPS, launched this new initiative, ‘Feedback Box’ for the people. ‘This will be directly monitored by SP office Tuensang on daily basis and prompt action will be taken,’ informed Tuensang police.

Tuensang Police has placed the feedback boxes at 5 strategic locations in Tuensang town; Near Welcome gate, Clock tower, Bazar point, High school junction and St John junction, informed the police.
