Kohima, April 15 (NEx): Advisor for Tourism, Art & Culture, H Khehovi Yepthomi inaugurated the new Police Station and SDO (C) office at Suruhuto Town, Zunheboto on wednesday, April 14th, 2021.
The advisor called it a historic day for the people of Suruhuto on inauguration of the two buildings in one day. He thanked Shivikhu Shikhu, the contractor of the SDO (C) office building for completing the building despite facing many hurdles and expressed gratitude to former Parliamentary Secretary Shetoyi, who initiated the project. He also thanked the State Government for catering to the needs of the people of Suruhuto. The Advisor called upon the people to take good care of the office properties and further requested them to enroll themselves in the census list if they have not enrolled.
SP Zunheboto, T Uniel Kichu, IPS thanked the Advisor for taking the initiative of setting up the police station at Suruhuto and added that the police will do its best to make the new police station very efficient for the people and called upon the people for their support.
DIG (Range/NAP) Tuensang, Rajashekara N thanked the people of Suruhuto for making the inauguration ceremony of police station and SDO (C) office building a success and added that since it is a tri-junction ( i.e Tuensang, Noklak and Zunheboto passes through this town) the office has become a necessity.
DC Zunheboto, Peter Lichamo requested the public to co-operate with the administration and government and encouraged the people to give land so that developmental activities can be taken up.
At the Police station inauguration, the SDO (C) Suruhuto, Dr. Kuzonyi Wideo chaired the program, dedicatory prayer was offered by Kavili, women leader. Meanwhile, at the SDO (C) Office building inauguration, Vikaho Zhimo chaired the program, invocation said by Asso. Pastor Women, Kikatoli, welcome speech was delivered by PRO to Advisor, Kavito Jakhalu while contractor Shivikhu Shikhu presented the technical report.
