Dimapur, November 10 (NE): In a good news for people of Nagaland, the Toka Multipurpose Cooperative Society (TMCS), Dimapur has been given the National Entrepreneurship Award 2019 (under Difficult Areas) being held at New Delhi on November 9 last with Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (SDE), Government of India (GoI), Shri Mahendra Nath Pandey as a special guest.
The TMCS is a multi level organization working for Nagaland since many years, helping to create SHGs, even selling the local products online through GoI program, among others.
The fourth edition award ceremony was organized by Ministry of SDE, GoI to mark it’s five years since 2014.
A winner receives a trophy, a certificate and a cash prize of Rupees Five Lakhs (enterprises/individuals) & Rupees Ten Lakhs (organization/institute).
National jury was chaired by Dr. R. A. Mashelkar and comprises of experts from industries, academic and business.
Few from other North East India also has received the award, according to sources.
