Three days off campus training on “Branding for Horticulture Produces” underway at Sameti, Medziphema

Dimapur, September 11, (NE): The three days off campus training on “branding for horticultural produces” is currently underway from September 10 to 12, 2019 at Sameti, Medziphema, Dimapur, which is sponsored by CCS National Institute of Agriculture Marketing (NIAM), Jaipur, Rajasthan (an autonomous organization under Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Government of India).

The closing day will have speeches on feedbacks by: Department of Agri & Allied, officials from KVK/IFAD/SARS & ATMA besides from the farmers group as well.

Certificates will be given by Director, SAMETI/Principal, IETC, Government of Nagaland, Dr. Watimongla Jamir. And vote of thanks by SMS (ATMA), SNO Cell, Miss Amongla.

It is pertinent to note that the objective of the program is to understand and cater to diverse needs on wide range of clientele and stakeholders for agricultural marketing pan India.

Thus, build up capacity & knowledge of Seniors including the middle level officials in the Government; market functionaries and others inorder to motivate and facilitate tradein agri-commodities in support of farmers.
