Thousands attend as ‘Nagaland Prayer Fest’ ends

Mokokchung, November 10 (NE): Thousand or atleast hundreds of people gathered in the jampack room at MTBA Church, Mokokchung to get blessings from the Lord during the three days event being held at Mokokchung town since last November eight under Nagaland Prayer Festival.

The program being organized by Jesus Calls Ministry from South India through prayers, message and healing by one’s faith – has also inaugurated a Prayer Tower, giving round the clock prayer service to people in need over the phone for Mokokchung in particular and the neighboring districts in general.

It is pertinent to note that the Prayer Tower will be second after Dimapur district.

In today’s last day event, the function was supposed to be held at Imkongmeren Stadium; but have to change the venue due to continues drizzling & rain. Yet, lots of people have come witnessing the power of Jesus to be delievered through prayers and having the faith that will be healed. Many also testified their faith in praising God of getting healed too. It is such a few programs that Mokokchung as a district witness such program of recent times.

Prayers and exhortation was given by former chief secretary of Nagaland, Shri Alemtemsu Jamir; besides the last prayer service was chaired by Pastor Temsuwati, among others.

Meanwhile, praying and greeting the people in name of the Lord, founder, Jesus Calls Ministry, Dr. Paul Dhinakaran said people are here in God’s plan as he mention that on the first day wherever cities they go, there is rain thunder out of the blue.

Dr. Paul along with the message, sung some nagamese songs. He also sang “Jesus Calls” song.

Mrs Paul lead the prayer to call Jesus into once heart. Also a lady from Agartala came to testify her testimony, how she had been saved by God from fear of death.

The program ended with a prayer by Dr. Rev. Noklen from Ungma under Mokokchung district.
