Summer Vacation For Schools In Nagaland From April 30; Hostels To Remain Closed

Kohima, April 29 (NEx): The Directorate of School Education (DoSE), Government of Nagaland on Thursday notified about the Summer Vacation For schools in the State from April 30th, 2021.

A notification issued by the Principal Director, DoSE, Shanavas C IAS said, all schools ( both Government & Private) functioning within the State of Nagaland shall have Summer Vacation with effect from April 30, 2021 until further notice.

All hostels accommodating school students shall also be closed during the period of Summer Vacation, Shanavas notified. This is in pursuance to the Government order issued on April 29, 2021, he added.

It is pertinent to note that State Cabinet in a meeting held on April 27, 2021, decided to enforce stricter rules to combat COVID-19 surge, with effect from April 30th, 2021. Following this a consolidated guidelines was issued on Thursday for strict implementation throughout the State of Nagaland with effect from April 30th, 2021 uptill May 13th, 2021.
