Stranded passengers of Dimapur Railway Station got Samaritan help from various social organisations today

Dimapur, December 13 (NE): The Youth Wings of Vivekananda Welfare Foundation (VWF) in collaboration with Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) provided Breakfast to all the passengers of Kamrup Express travelling from Howrah to Dibrugarh who were stranded at Dimapur Railway Station due to the ongoing tense situation in Assam today on December thirteen.

The Youth Volunteers of VWF reached Dimapur Railway Station at 7.30 a.m. and stretched their helping hands towards the passengers with breakfast. While distributing the food to the passengers, the volunteers assured them not to worry about anything and added that the passengers would be treated as special guests. Their volunteers were ready to extend physical and moral support during any crisis felt by the passengers, according to an information recieved here. The volunteers felt blessed to serve the passengers when crisis is going on as they feel that this is one of the best service they can provide to the nation. VWF is proud to have such potential and energetic volunteers who are always ready to serve for the sake of humanity during crisis. The volunteers were physically present in the station till 12.30 p.m. They served more than 350 passengers. VWF rendered its best possible service towards Humanity and it will continue to do the same when any such calls knock at the door.

Swami Vivekananda says, “A brave, frank, clean-hearted, courageous and aspiring youth is the only foundation on which the future nation can be built.” VWF appeals to all the youths of the country to be positive and extend their joint hands in building the nation at possible means. Later, VWF extended a big thanks to the DC, Dimapur who with his officials also who visited the station yesterday to meet the stranded passengers and assured them of all kinds of possible help to the passengers.

The VWF also expressed its heartfelt gratitude and thanks to other organisations like Bharat Sevashram Sangha, & Hindu Seva Samiti who also took part in the noble cause. They also served food to the fellow pasengers with full of love and care. VWF prayed the Almighty God would bless all the passengers with required strength to face the temporary odds.

In other relevant news, Dimapur Lions Club along with volunteers among others also rendered help by providing food to the stranded passengers of the said train in Dimapur Railway Station.
