Staff Selection Board; NSF to start democratic agitation against the State Government on October 30

Kohima, October 25 (NE): The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) in a press release dated October 25, 2019, informed to all concerned that the 1st phase of democratic agitation against the failure of the government of Nagaland to comply with it’s demand for setting up of Staff Selection Board (SSB) in the State, shall commence on October 30, 2019.

NSF in the recently concluded Presidential council meeting for the tenure 2019-2021, adopted a resolution to register the resentment of the federation in a democratic and phased manner against the failure of the government of Nagaland to comply with its demand for setting up of Staff Selection Board (SSB) in the State.

This 1st phase of agitation shall be carried out until further directive from the office of NSF, Wherein all the school, college and university going students would wear symbolic black bands/badges along with their uniform.

The federation has directed all its federating units and sub-ordinate bodies to take up all necessary actions to ensure that the protest is carried out successfully in their jurisdiction.

Further, the NSF has appealed through the press release, to all stakeholders to lend their support and cooperation in this fight towards a just future
