Spiritual & Mission Awakening Crusade at Jalukie Town Baptist Church Concluded

Peren, November 11 (NE): Spiritual & Mission Awakening Crusade : ‘Revived to Proclaim’, at Jalukie Town Local Baptist Church jointly organized by Nagaland Missions Movement (NMM), ZBCC, ZBA(N), LBA, KBA concluded Sunday night, November 10, 2019. A total of 18 churches participated in the crusade.

The speakers were Rev. Bonny Resu, General Secretary, APBF (Asia Pacific Baptist Federation), Nuklu Phom and Andrew Semp, Director, Nagaland Missions Movement.

The three day long crusade concluded last night with a message from speaker Y. Nuklu Phom emphasizing on the need of scientific reading of the Bible in the present day context of the 21st century. He encouraged each one of the congregation to revive their relationship with God and to prioritize God in life. Also, he elaborated on how the minds of people has been hijacked by the gods of this age, some of which can be in the form of Work, Money, Entertainment and Modern technology. So, he called upon everyone to keep their minds from being hijacked and stay in relationship with God and keep God first in everything we do.

Quoting Genesis 1: 9-25, he said that God created a wonderful ecosystem for us. “The biggest threat in 21st century is our environment”, as a community it is our responsibility even in a spiritual context to preserve our God given ecosystem.
