NLA Speaker, late Vikho-o Yhoshü laid to rest in his hometown

Kohima, January 1 (NE): The State Funeral Service in honour of the Hon’ble Speaker of Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) Late Vikho-o Yhoshü was held at his Official Bungalow at Old Minister’s Hill, Kohima on January 1, 2020.

Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, Cabinet Ministers, Chief Secretary, Leaders from across the party lines along with others paid their last respect and homage to Er. Vikho-o Yhoshü.

The mortal remains of NLA, Speaker Vikho-o Yhoshü were laid to rest at the family home at Khamima, Kigwema, under Kohima district. The last funeral rites were performed at Kimipfüphe Ground Kigwema.

Late Vikho-o Yhoshü breathed his last at Mumbai on December 30, 2019 following a prolonged illness. Nagaland observes three days state mourning in honor of late Vikho-o Yhoshü from December 30, 2019 – January 01, 2020.

Earlier, Prime Minister, Nagaland Governor, Nagaland CM, Deputy CM, Cabinet Ministers, Opposition Leader, Advisors, leaders across party lines along with others condole the demise of Vikho-o Yhoshü.
