Security Forces Seizes Smuggled Contraband Worth Rs. 1.4 crore In Dimapur.

Kohima, March 20 (NEx): Security Forces in a joint operation alongwith State Police seized smuggled contraband in general area Petrol Pump, Dimapur District, Nagaland on March 18th, 2021.

The PRO, HQ IGAR (N) informed that, based on a specific input, the Security Forces in a joint operation with State Police, seized smuggled contraband and recovered Burma Teak 5000 CFT (Worth Approx. Rs 1.4 Crore), eight vehicles, Rs 17,500/- cash and 11 Mobile Phones near Petrol Pump, Dimapur District, Nagaland.

The apprehended individuals along with recovered items have been handed over to Chumukedima Forest Range, Dimapur Division, for further investigation, PRO said.
