Kohima, May 13 (NEx): The Department of School Education informed that the Tentative Seniority List of Graduate Teachers as on April 30, 2021 is published and a copy of the same is made available at Department’s official website https://education.nagaland.gov.in for inviting Claims/Objections in the Tentative Seniority List within a period of 30 days from the date of issue of this notification.
The Principal Director of School Education, Shanavas C, IAS said that the Tentative Seniority List of Graduate Teachers is prepared in accordance with the following criteria and as per the principles contained in the judgements of the Hon’ble High Court in Writ Appeal No. 16 (K) of 2017 and Writ Appeal No. 17 (K) of 2017 Dated 12/12/2019.
Shanavas said that teachers appointed/recruited after 2009 shall be incorporated in the Seniority List only after anomalies related to their appointment/recruitment are resolved, and that it is necessitated to expedite the process of publication of Final Seniority List of Graduate Teachers as per the directions of the Hon’ble Court.
Teachers who were re-designated as AEOs/SISs and reflected in this seniority list shall be governed by the Condition No. (ii) of the Notification dated, 27th January 2017 and 14th August 2017.
The PD directed teachers who are attached in various administrative offices of Department and comes under the purview of the judgement of the Hon’ble High Court Order Dated 08/04/2021 of Case No. WA7/2020 to submit all relevant documents for inclusion in the Seniority List within the stipulated time.
He also directed teachers reflected in the Seniority List without complete documents such as Date of Appointment Order/Date of Birth/Graduate Scale Order/Regularization Order/BA Mark Sheet/ Incomplete Documents etc to furnish/submit the same within the stipulated time for confirmation/consideration. Teachers failing to submit the requisite documents within the stipulated time shall not be considered for further promotion and are liable to relinquish their seniority position, he added.
It was also informed that teachers shall submit the requisite documents to the concerned DEOs/SDEOs within the stipulated time for compilation and onward submission to the Directorate of School Education and claims/Objections should be registered with the respective DEOs/SDEOs within a period of 30 days from the date of issue of this notification and should be accompanied with relevant supporting documents.
Failure to register Claims/Objections within the stipulated time limit shall be construed as validation of the entries and submission of Claims/Objections after the expiry of the stipulated time limit shall be treated as invalid and no complaints whatsoever shall be entertained thereafter, the notification said.
