Dimapur, February 03 (NEx): Saraswati Ghale, a 4th semester student of Public College of Commerce emerged as the lucky winner for a free Diploma course in computer Applications worth Rs. 33,630/- at NIIT Dimapur center.
Last month, NIIT Dimapur Center announced 100% Free course on Diploma in Computer Applications to one lucky winner as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Out of the 90 applicants for the free Diploma in computer Applications, Saraswati Ghale, a 4th semester student of Public College of Commerce emerged as the lucky winner.
The occasion was graced by Chairman, Livingstone Foundation International School Dr. Andrew Ahoto and Director Peace Channel Dr. Fr. C. P Anto.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ahoto appreciated the Head of center of NIIT Dimapur center, Daniel Changkiri for his decade long association with the center and exhorted the applicants to aspire to be IT professionals. Commending the center team for their dedicated services in building the careers of the youth of Nagaland, he appreciated the Managing Director of the center, Ajay Sethi for the CSR activities being upheld regularly. Dr. Fr. Anto exhorted the applicants to avail the opportunities being offered by NIIT Dimapur center at regular intervals.
NIIT Dimapur has been offering various scholarships at regular intervals, besides the interest free study loans in partnership with Eduvanz for post graduate career programs.
The Head of Center NIIT Dimapur, Daniel Changkiri on January 16, 2021, informed that interested 12th Pass or appearing students including current NIITians may apply for the CSR award by submitting their photocopy of 10th or 12th Passed mark sheet with their passport size photos within January 31st, 2021.
The free Diploma course entitles the winner to learn 11 modules viz. Logic Building & Effective Problem Solving, IT Fundamentals & Computing, Creating and Managing Professional Documents using Office Word 2007, Presenting and Managing Data Effectively Using Excel 2007, Common Business Processes, Creating and Managing Presentations using Office PowerPoint 2007, Communicate & Manage Tasks, Contacts and Appointments using Office Outlook 2007, Introduction to the Digital Lifestyle, Designing & Managing Databases, Object Oriented Programming using Java & a Project.
