Kohima, March 08 (NEx): Farewell program for outgoing ADC to Governor, Ado Yanlem was held at Dr. Imkongliba Ao Hall, Raj Bhavan Kohima today, March 8th, 2021. He served the Office of the Governor for 2 years and 2 months, a press release from Raj Bhavan said.
The Governor RN Ravi felicitating the outgoing officer said Ado has earned the love and affection of the entire Raj Bhavan family, and has become a member of his own personal family. He lauded his professional and human qualities. Governor mentioned that once a work is entrusted to Ado, no reminders were needed since he would always execute it perfectly.
Governor reminded that a person in uniform is a role model and an inspiration, especially for the youth, and when he carries out the responsibility with humility and a sense of service, he can do wonders. He urged Ado to be one such role model.
In his speech, Ado expressed gratitude to the Hon’ble Governor, his Lady Wife and family as well as staff of Raj Bhavan for providing an environment where he could grow as a police officer and as a human being. He said serving two different dynamic Governors has been a challenging and learning experience which he would cherish his whole life. He expressed appreciation and gratitude to all the staff for making his stay at Raj Bhavan a memorable one.
