Kohima, January 16 (NEx): Minister of Planning & Coordination, Land Revenue and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Neiba Kronu inaugurated the much awaited Hub & Planetarium in Kohima on January 16, 2021.

Kronu said that planetarium impresses us with the infinity, dignity, regularity, and wonder of the cosmos and inspires minds to explore so many remaining fields of study and call on specially the students to explore more to fill the gap on scientific temper and study with the rest of the states.

He also assured all necessary assistance from the Government for the improvement of science education in Nagaland.

Adviser to Science & Technology, IT& C and NRE Mmhonlumo Kikon informed that catching the young students at an early age will go a long way for the development of science and technology in Nagaland. He also added that the Government is on the pipe line to establish one planetarium in all the District HQ. in the near future.

The program was led by Principal Secretary, Science and Technology Department, O.T Chingmak Chang, a short brief back ground of the construction was delivered by senior Scientific officer and vote of thanks was said by Director Science & Technology Wonchio Odyuo.
