Dimapur, February 13 (NE): Interested photographers both amateur and professionals are invited to participate in the photography contest 2020 on the theme ‘Children of Nagaland’ organised by the Child Protection Services (CPS) department of Social Welfare, Nagaland.
A notification issued by the CPS said that a participant may send maximum of two entries to: firstname.lastname@example.org. The last date of entry is February 24, 2020 and the results will be declared on February 27, 2020 at RCEMPA, Jotsoma.
We are looking for Candid/Real moments. The Photography competition aims to raise awareness on child rights and protection issues in our state, it added.
Further, it informed that the shortlisted works will be exhibited at RCEMPA, Jotsoma, Kohima on February 27, 2020. First prize will receive a cash award of Rs. 30,000, second prize Rs. 10,000 and two consolation prizes of rupees 5,000 each.
Some of the terms and conditions of the contest are:
-Participants Have to furnish complete contact details like – Name, age, phone number, email address and postal address.
-The photographs must have a good resolution and should be an original creation.
-By submitting the entries, participants agree to grant Child Protection services, Nagaland free of charge, the right to use the photos without limitation in printed or electronic media.
-CPS agrees to give proper Photo courtesy.
