Dimapur, October 29 (NE): The Peace Foundation Day is to be held on November 20 under ENPO at Tuensang district with Governor of Nagaland, Shri RN Ravi as Chief Guest.
In a press release by Eastern Nagaland People’s Organization (ENPO), President, Shri Kekongchim alongwith it’s General Secretary, Shri Manlang Phom said that four resolutions has been made through a meeting whereby the said Peace Foundation Day has been necessitated to be held at it’s Headquarter in Tuensang district that any internal or tribal issues including land disputes within six tribes, viz-a-viz, Chang, Khiamniungan, Konyak, Phom, Sangtam and Yimchunger shall be resolved among concerned group through a peaceful dialogue.
Second resolution, ENPO reaffirms and upholds Tuensang Resolution of December 18, 2007, that there should be no more bloodshed, threats including intimidation within ENPO areas.
Resolution three, reiterates Longleng Resolution of September 29, 2005 strongly , for security and safety of Eastern Naga leaders, by any arm groups.
Resolution four, says that henceforth Eastern Nagaland areas must no longer be a battle ground by any armed groups in any unfavorable situation that are anticipated.
Therefore, all it’s tribal presidents, twenty ENLU members and it’s Frontal Organizations must attend the program at its Tuensang Headquarter and public of Eastern Nagaland should be well informed by respective tribal bodies for necessary precaution.
