Kohima, May 06 (NEx): The equipments meant for installation of PSA Oxygen Generation Plant at Dimapur and Mokokchung district hospital have safely reached Dimapur Airport on Thursday, May 6th, 2021, informed the Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom.
The installation process of the oxygen plants will begin at the earliest to provide sufficient Oxygen to the patients in need, Pangnyu said.
The minister further called everyone to shoulder this COVID-19 battle together and also assured every possible help to tackle the present health crisis.

It is pertinent to note that Three Oxygen Plants was approved for Nagaland under PM-CARES fund. The 3 plants will be installed at Naga Hospital Authority Kohima, District Hospital Dimapur and Mokokchung.
The equipments of PSA Oxygen Generation Plant for Naga Hospital Authority Kohima, District Hospital Dimapur and District Hospital Mokokchung landed at Dimapur Airport on April 30, 2021.
Yesterday, Pangnyu Phom visited the ongoing installation of PSA Oxygen Generation Plant at NHAK and said that the Installation will be completed on May 5th, where leakage testing will be conducted by Thursday followed by certification process for official use of the plant.
The airlifting of the oxygen plants equipments from Delhi to Nagaland was started following the request of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio to the Union Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh on an urgent basis, as the road journey time from Delhi to Nagaland, would take around 10 days.
