Opposition leader of NLA and NSF appeals the government

Dimapur, October 22, (NE): The leader of Opposition in present Nagaland Legislature Assembly (NLA) has through a statement appealed the Government to call a meeting of Joint Legislature Forum (JLF) comprising with opposition MLA as members on current stand of GoI and the NSCN (IM) as dateline made by Centre is coming near.

In the statement, the opposition leader said the government of Nagaland must not send any wrong message in such a time as this and that it should not hamper the crucial talks going on in the juncture.

It however, said to be as a good facilitator – especially comprising the opposition members of the Assembly has always been done even in earlier times.

In another message by the Nagaland students body, the NSF has once more appealed the masses to pursue their goals for welfare as a whole.

It said, the last date has already past since they have submitted to the Government on creating a Staff Selection Board – which will only be benefited by public in eradicating the rampant backdoor appointments going on in the state.

NSF as a student’s body has appealed once again to understand the future situation of the youths and do the necessary actions by the present Government led by Shri Neiphiu Rio.
