Kohima: The Officials of the Naga Students Federation (NSF) held its first meeting yesterday (May 29) at Kohima.
NSF President, Ninoto Awomi informed, during the meeting various issues were deliberated and resolutions were adopted.
In a three point resolution, the house unanimously resolved to set-up a media cell with a vision to bridge the gap between the federation and the general public.
It resolved to constitute a Grievances Redressal Cell and also set-up a dedicated hotline number to receive complaints and suggestions from the public.
On the initiatives and priorities for the tenure of 2019-2021, the officials unanimously decided to render utmost priority to the students’ welfare issues, monitor State government recruitment policies, and address various gaps confronting the same.
Besides, the federation extends its unflinching support to the ongoing Indo-Naga Political dialogue. Meanwhile, the officials decided to organise the HSLC Toppers’ Felicitation Program on 15th of next month.
