NSUI Nagaland unit to stage a protest against unemployment in Dimapur

Dimapur, March 09 (NEx): The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) Nagaland unit informed that it is organizing a protest against the rising unemployment on Wednesday.

The President NSUI Nagaland unit, Chophika informed about the protest today. The proposed protest is scheduled to take place at Supermarket in Dimapur from 09:00 am onwards on March 10, 2021. As part of the protest against Unemployment, NSUI, Nagaland said, come and have ‘free pakoda and chai’.

It is pertinent to note that, back in 2018, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in an interview to a television channel, said, “If a person selling pakodas (snacks) earns Rs 200 at the end of the day, will it be considered employment or not?”. The Union Home Minister, Amit Shah during his maiden Parliament speech also said there is no shame in selling ‘pakodas’. “It is better to sell ‘pakodas’ than remain unemployed.
