NSF’s first phase democratic agitation for SSB begun today peacefully; but warns for second phase if needed

Dimapur, October 30, (NE): The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) in a press release has informed the general public that the first phase of democratic agitation against the inaction of the Government of Nagaland for setting up Staff selection Board (SSB) has begun today, October 30, with overwhelming response from the students’ community and the general public of the state.

Students of various schools, colleges and universities wore black band/badge along with the uniform of their respective institutions in response to the call of the federation to register their resentment against the state government to respond positively to their aspiration for promoting meritocracy in the state.

The federation reiterated that the first phase of the democratic agitation shall be carried forward for an indefinite period of time and if the state government continues to remain indifferent to this cause, the federation shall be compelled to take up the second phase of agitation; the nature of which shall be made known to the general public in due course of time.

Further, the NSF once again appeal to all the students and the general public to walk together in its journey until the desired result is achieved.
