NSF first phase agitation on halt as requested by Government of Nagaland

Our Bureau:

Dimapur, November 11 (NE): The Naga Students’ Federations (NSF) first phase agitation from today has been halt due to a recent appeal made by Government of Nagaland in relation to creating Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB) like the one in Arunachal Pradesh among few states in India.

According to NSF, having such a Board will enable particularly the educated unemployed youths of the state to apply those government posts, which do not fall under or which can be held by Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC). This way, they have claimed that it will reduce the problem of unemployment in larger scales as it will be atleast free from corruption, among other reasons.

This has been getting momentum when few students bodies including other organizations came openly to support the cause on behalf of youths in need.

It is pertinent to note that the NSF has also informed its constituent bodies to wait as requested the Government of Nagaland in particular to those officials being authorized by Government to work so as to submit it’s report on time.
