Kohima, April 18 (NE): The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) condemned the act of physically and mentally harassing the poor migrant labourers and daily wagers by some mischievous elements in the Naga family, which has been circulating in various social media platforms.

The Federation is appalled by the insensitivity of the individuals involved in such ludicrous acts and appealed to the public to exercise utmost restraint in their dealings with our fellow beings and not resort to acts which will portray our society in bad light in the eyes of the world beyond us, said the condemnation letter issued by NSF on April 18, 2020.

Also, it clarified that Naga society is not one which promotes discrimination on communal and racial line as the principle of equity and justice has been the basic ethos of our people since time immemorial, it stated.
