Kohima, December 18 (NEx):The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) made an appeal to all the students and youth community to strictly adhere to COVID-19 guidelines and SOPs laid down by the competent authorities.
The NSF on December 17th, 2020 said that it is perplexed at the complacent attitude of a section of the naga youth and students spread across all Naga inhabited areas by not adhering to the SOPs laid down by the authorities, and is anxious at the risk posed by the many superspreading events scheduled during the festive season.
The Federation appealed all educated students and youth community to strictly adhere to the COVID-19 SOPs throughout the festive season and beyond and called them to be torchbearers in instilling a sense of discipline to the general public in order to contain the spread of the disease, if not stop it all together.
Further, the Federation directed all its federating units and subordinate bodies to ensure that all scheduled conferences, sports meet, jubilees and other events are carried out in full conformity with the laid down norms and also requested them to properly instruct their respective constituent units regarding the same.
NSF also suggested all its federating units and subordinate bodies to dedicate a brief session of their scheduled event for creating awareness on COVID-19 to all the participants.
