Dimapur, December 4 (NE): The Assam Rifles’ (AR) grudge against NSCN (National Socialist Council of Nagalim) is an open secret as testified in numerous incidents. This time also the 5 AR have raided the rented houses of NSCN members on December three at Kuda Village (Nagarjan) and NST Colony (City Tower) areas, Dimapur and arrested one Ninghor from NST Colony, said in a press statement by NSCN.
Further, the NSCN said that it has understood AR is emboldened to go against the NSCN following the CFMG (Cease Fire Monitoring Group) Chairman Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Shokin Chauhan’s communication (letter) to the Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs. The NSCN queried, “Is it the policy to chase the Nagas away further?”
It is unfortunate that this incident took place despite the CFMC (Cease Fire Monitoring Cell), NSCN having intimated to the CFMC Chairman to establish a corrective measure from his end and the Indian armed personnel after the Kohima and other incidents of Cease Fire Ground Rules (CFGR) violations committed by the Indian security forces, added NSCN.
NSCN finally said it has strongly objected such high handed actions of the AR plotted by the Chairman, CFMG.
