NSCN/GPRN, ULFA-I & RPF/PLA claim responsibility for attack on Assam Rifles in Arunachal Pradesh on Sunday, October 04, 2020

Kohima, October 05 (NEx): The NSCN/GPRN, ULFA-I and RPF/PLA claimed responsibility for attack on Assam Rifles on October 04, 2020 near Tenmo Village in Changlang District of Arunachal Pradesh.

The Yung Aung led NSCN (K) in a press release to NagalandExpress claimed that a combine team of the Naga Army (NSCN/GPRN), ULFA-I and RPF/PLA in a joint military offensive launch against the occupational forces, carried out an attack on a convoy of 19 Assam rifles at 09:00 am on October 04, 2020 which claimed the lives of two jawans and left many others injured.

The three groups under the umbrella of Western South East Asia (WESEA) stated, “The WESEA revolution will endure and move forward as long as India illegally occupies and dominates our region. The more India oppresses and refuse to recognize our genuine struggle, we will continue to defend our legitimate rights at all cost”.

Further, the press release stated that India must fully realize that neither it’s forceful occupation nor it’s draconian laws nor its reckless disregard for human rights can break the will of the Wesean people for self determination, for which the people struggled for decades with blood and tears to protect and defend their freedom.
