NPF to hold a consultative meeting on January 7, 2020 at Kohima

Dimapur, January 5 (NE): The Naga People’s Front (NPF) will convene a consultative meeting on Tuesday, January Seven, in connection with the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) at Kohima.

The NPF meeting, convened by party president Shurhozelie Liezietsu, will begin from eleven am, at NPF Central office, Kohima as per media cell report.
The meeting is supposedly convened, “In response to the recommendation of Disciplinary Action Committee (DAC of the party) and in exercise of the powers conferred, Article V, Clause 3 of the party constitution” to the president of the party, it stated.

“The main agenda of the meeting is CAA and issues connected with it. Therefore, all concerned members are requested to attend without fail,” stated in a notification issued by its president Shurhozelie Liezietsu to the media.

The Central Office Bearers (COB), NPF MLAs, presidents of frontal organisations and cells, presidents of the NPF divisions and invitees will attend the meeting.
The said meeting will be crucial in light of the developments taking place in the Party to come out with decisions over all.
