No Covid-19 case in Nagaland, 48 tested negative, 13 results awaited | April 07, 2020

Kohima, April 07 (NE): Dr. Vizolie Z Suokhrie, Principal Director, Health and Family Welfare, GoN through Covid-19 bulletin informed that as on 05:00 pm, today, April 07, 2020 there is no positive case of Coronavirus detected in Nagaland.

A total of 61 samples for suspected Covid-19 were sent for test from Nagaland, in which 48 samples tested negative. Thirteen samples results are awaited, informed the Covid-19 bulletin, today.

Covid-19 bulletin informs that a total of 1575 persons are under home quarantine and 38 persons are at facility quarantine, including students who have returned since March 06, 2020 have self reported to the respective surveillance team of the District. A total of 4026 persons have already completed home quarantine period, it added.

District wise quarantine reports shows that out of the total 1575 home quarantine and 38 facility quarantine in the state, Kohima district has 164 home quarantine and 4 facility quarantine.

Dimapur district has 1012 home quarantine and 26 facility quarantine.

Wokha district has 31 home quarantine and 4 facility quarantine.

Mon district has 9 home quarantine and 4 facility quarantine.

Other districts status follow as; Mokokchung – 99, Peren – 15, Phek – 08, Mon – 58, Tuensang – 31, Zunheboto – 42, Kiphire – 156, Longleng – 08 persons are under home quarantine as on 05:00 pm, today.

A total of 1260 persons were screened on April 07, 2020. District wise screening numbers are, Kohima– 249, Mokokchung – 110, Peren – 0, Phek – 07, Mon – 58, Tuensang – 19, Zunheboto – 199, Wokha – 24, Kiphire – 0, Longleng – 0, Dimapur – 594, said the bulletin.
