No Covid-19 case in Nagaland, 41 samples tested, results of 9 awaited | April 03, 2020

Kohima, April 03 (NE): Dr. Vizolie Z Suokhrie, Principal Director, Health and Family Welfare, GoN through Covid-19 bulletin informed that as on 05:00 pm, today, April 03, 2020 there is no positive case of Coronavirus detected in Nagaland.

A total of 41 samples for suspected Covid-19 were sent for test from Nagaland, in which 32 samples tested negative. Nine samples results are awaited, add the report.

Covid-19 bulletin said, a total of 5681 people including students who have returned since March 06, 2020 have self reported to the respective surveillance team of the District and are under home quarantine, out of this, 2349 have already completed home quarantine period and 3332 persons are under home quarantine at present, it added.

Nagaland has 173 Isolation beds, said the report. The number of calls received through helpline stands at 43789. At present, twenty Foreigners are present at the state. A total of 815 persons were screened today, added the bulletin report.
