NMA Appeals National Workers Not to Indulge in Land Disputes

Kohima, March 24 (NEx): The Naga Mother’s Association (NMA) strongly condemned the brutal killings of three precious lives and destroying properties at Lamhainamdi village under Peren District on the evening of March 22nd, 2021.

The Mothers’ Association in a press statement on Tuesday, appealed to all national workers not to indulge in any Land disputes and appealed all citizens to shun violence and killings.

It also appealed the state government to ensure that safety, security and respect for precious human lives is upheld and take strong measures to prevent recurrence of violence and killings in the state.

The association further demand the law enforcing agencies to punish the perpetrators according to law and ensure that rule of law prevails, and urged all citizens to maintain peace and exercise utmost restraint and avoid spreading rumours, provocative comments to avoid further escalation of tension.

NMA conveyed deepest condolences to the victims and their families and prays that the Lord comforts them in this time of sorrow.
