Peren, January 26 (NEx): Skill Development Program sponsored by the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), PMU-Dimapur in collaboration with CIDC ( Construction Industry Development Council) is underway for the local youths at PerenKipeuzang Village, Peren District.
The employment oriented training and Skill development program was inaugurated on January 25th, 2021 by Sentiwapang Aier, Deputy Commissioner of Peren, Nagaland in the presence of NHIDCL Officials, Mireulung Sephe Peren Village Council Chairman, GBs, Church leaders and officials from various NGOs in Peren district.
The Asst. General Secretary Zeme Youth Organization Nagaland, Keyi Sephe said that the program is an Employment oriented Training and Skill development program for a duration of three months targeting local unemployed youth and school dropouts.
The Program has commenced in Peren District with 30 young enthusiasts who aspire to have a great future outlook and the training will be beneficial for the participants in various terms, Sephe informed.
He also added that NHIDCL has always strived its best to provide such skill development programe to the local youths and believes in making a progressive work environment for all.
Further, Sephe informed that the attendees will get incentives of Rs 15,000/- per month each trainee and they will be provided lunch during the training. Also, Tool kit will be provided for the training
and a certificate on completion of training.
The organizers expect to provide employment to the unemployed local youth and school dropouts in various
ongoing projects of NHIDCL and other infrastructure development works in the state in near future promoting the livelihood of the Local Youths.
