NEZCC supported North East states during ensuing Hornbill Festival 2019 in folk dances: A report

Dimapur, December 8 (NE): The NEZCC, Dimapur has taken a bold step like other years in promoting various cultural programs of the region. This year was no exception that they have supported the eight states of North East (NE) India, during Hornbill Festival 2019 Nagaland. The 7th day of the Hornbill Festival December 7, 2019 at Kisama Naga Heritage Village, Kohima was marked by the folk dance presentations by Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Sikkim and Tripura from NEZCC itself.

The Hornbill Festival is an annual event organized by the Government of Nagaland from December 1 to 10, every year at Kisama Naga Heritage Village, Kohima. The seventh day of the Hornbill Festival is allotted to NEZCC for cultural presentations from the North Eastern States.

NEZCC stands for North East Zone Cultural Center for the whole North East India – taking care of cultural aspects in the region.
