1. Briefing on COVID-19 on May 24, 2020 for Nagaland
The Principal Secretary, Home, Abhijit Sinha, briefing on COVID-19 on May 24, 2020 for Nagaland said that, till date a total of 1066 suspected samples have been sent for testing. The results of 1001 samples have been received and all are negative. Results for 65 samples are awaited. In addition, through the Truenat testing machines, 31 samples have been tested so far and all have tested negative.
2. DoSE calls educators for promoting digital learning in Nagaland

3. NBCC Delivers Gift Packages to Kohima Quarantine Centres
The Nagaland Baptist Churches Council (NBCC) delivered 826 gift packages to both the quarantine centres in Kohima K. Badze as well as Meriema today, May 24, 2020. The packages were handed over at the gate with a word of prayer in both the centres.
The gift package included
-Prayer letter from General Secretary, NBCC
-NBCC news letter
-Basic needs like Tooth Brush, Paste, Soap, Toilet roll.
-Chocolates, Biscuits, Juice, etc.
4. District Roundup On Law & Order
The report on Law & Order in Nagaland with regard to COVID-29 lock down on 23rd May stated that 1(one) person violated the lock down and 1(one) arrest was made. It added that 1(one) FIR case was registered. However, it stated that no law & order incident has been reported in the State as per the statement made by the Joint Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Home Hiazu Meru.
On supply of essential goods, the report disclosed that shops for food grains and groceries/milk/medicine remain opened in all the districts. The report also showed that there has been no shortage of essential goods in the State.
