1. State level Control room for Covid-19 lockdown
A state level control room during Covid-19 lockdown to address any grievances, undue problems faced by the providers of essential goods / services including inter-State movement during the Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) has been set up at the State Emergency Operation Centre (SEOC), Kohima.
2. Number of Coronavirus cases rise to 553 in India, Two cases from Northeast India reported
The Number of coronavirus cases rise to 553 in India as on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, 06:45 pm. Out of the total cases, 42 patients have been cured and discharged. Death toll rises to nine, says ICMR.
Meanwhile, Northeast reported its second positive case in Mizoram, a 50 year old man has been tested positive of corona virus at Aizawl. This is the first case confirmed in the state. The patient has immediately been taken to Zoram Medical College at Aizawl and kept in Isolation, Health Minister R Lalthangliana said on Wednesday.
3. CS Temjen Toy: The lockdown is not a holiday for leisure.
Chief Secretary, Government of Nagaland, Temjen Toy, IAS, has reiterated that the lockdown is not a holiday for leisure and has been enforced due to the current COVID-19 pandemic situation to stay at home and definitely not for family outings and picnics. He also stated that violators will be punished as per law.
4. The Angami Baptist Church Diphupar – B, informs
The Angami Baptist Church Diphupar – B (ABCD – B), Dimapur regrets to inform all who have helped in purchasing a dinner pack, which is scheduled to be delivered on March Twenty Eight, that it has to be postponed due to the ongoing pandemic.
In a press release by Pastor & it’s Church Secretary – Shri Keduolhoutuo Pfukha and Vivolie Theünuo respectively, said that the date of delivery will be informed once the situation becomes normal.
5. All Nagaland Counselors Association informs:
All Nagaland Counselors Association will give voluntary services in providing telephonic counseling to any person who require emotional and therapeutic support during the crisis of Covid-19 pandemic. A press release from the Association stated that all counselors are well trained and qualified, and will follow the professional counseling protocol maintaining confidentiality and genuineness.
Any citizen who wants to avail the services can call any of the executives from 6.00AM to 9:00 PM, who will redirect the call to a professional. The release further stated that counseling services will be available till April 16, 2020, as per the Nagaland Government lockdown order.
