1. Unidentified corpse recovered today at Dimapur
On March Nine, one unidentified dead body of non-local male (20 yrs approx / dark complexion) was recovered from NH-29 by Dimapur Police.
In a press release by Dimapur Police today, it said that the deceased was wearing a green and blue check-shirt, blue and red colour t-shirt, grey formal long pant and black belt. Inquest was conducted on the spot but no suspect of foul play or external marks was established. On completion of all legal formalities the dead body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur for Post Mortem examination.
Claimant / relatives / friends of the deceased are hereby requested to contact Officer-in-Charge, Chumukedima, Dimapur, it added.
2. PDA Government celebrates 2nd Anniversary today
The PDA Leadership Conclave was held today, March Nine, on the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of the PDA Government at Dimapur.
In a report by DIPR today, March Nine, it said that the Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio delivered the Keynote address. Speakers includes Shri Neiba Kronu, Shri K.T. Sukhalu, Shri G. Kaito Aye, Shri Mmhonlumo Kikon, Shri S. Pangnyu Phom and Shri Paiwang Konyak and others.
3. ANGPTA informs
The All Nagaland Government Primary Teacher Association (ANGPTA) has notified all the district units of Nagaland to furnish detail list of all the officials of current team with their designation & contact numbers on or before March Thirty One. A notification by ANGPTA said that it was neccesitated due to change of guard.
4. RBI notifies
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has notified that Yes Bank, a private bank is currently blocked under moratorium period and their following sub – members type two banks are also blocked in CTS clearing. In a notification by RBI, received here by Nagaland Express as on March Nine it said: Please note that the cheques of following Bank in Nagaland will not be processed in outward and inward clearing. Customers are requested not to present the cheques of these banks in clearing:

5. GoN notifies on sale of vehicles at Nagaland, wef April 1, 2020
The Government of Nagaland (GoN) stated in a notification that the following types of vehicles will not be sold as per a notification including judgements order in the state of Nagaland:
a) New motor vehicle conforming to emission standard Bharat Stage IV, manufactured before April One, 2020 shall not be sold in the state, wef, April One.
b) New motor vehicle of Category ‘M’ and ‘N’ not confirmed as similar to aforesaid, shall not be sold or registered in state of Nagaland.
This was stated by Chief Secretary of Nagaland on March Six in a notification.
6. Governor Nagaland RN Ravi extends warm Holi greetings
Governor RN Ravi, in his message stated that the festival of Holi with its vibrancy of colours accentuates positivity and the triumph of good over the evil. The Governor reminded the people not to forget the fundamental purpose of the Holi festival which is to unite people together forgetting all differences, and to have love and respect for one another. He wished everyone a colourful and happy Holi festival celebration.
