National Youth Day held at Dimapur today on January 12 with rest of India

Dimapur, January 12 (NE): National Youth Day has been observed at Dimapur, today on January Twelve. Dimapur, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shri Anoop Khinchi, IAS, was the Chief guest of the function held at Durga Mandir Auditorium, Dimapur organized by Vivekenanda Welfare Foundation, Dimapur in association with Bharat Vikas Parishad Dimapur branch.

According to a notification received here stated that the day has been observed with rest of country in remembering the 157th birthday of Swami Vivekenanda, the chief disciple of the 19th-century mystic Ramakrishna Paramhansa, was the founder of the Ramakrishna Math and the Ramakrishna Mission at Belur in erstwhile Bengal.

On this auspicious occasion various Ministers and Advisors to the Government of Nagaland greeted the people of Nagaland.

Minister of HE&TE and TA, Temjen Imna Along took to twitter to greets the people on the occasion of National Youth Day which also marks the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. A role model for the ones who aspire to achieve success and make an impact with their existence. His teaching will always live among us and will inspire us, he tweeted.

The organization also celebrated its foundation day today.
