Nagaland's COVID-19 positive cases cross 23,000-mark with 133 cases on June 8th

Kohima, June 08 (NEx): Nagaland reported 133 new Covid positive cases, taking the active cases in the State to 4676 and total tally at 23,051 on Tuesday, June 8th, 2021, the health department updated in the daily bulletin today.

With 133 new positive cases on Tuesday, the total tally of positive cases rose to 23,051. Out of reported133 new COVID-19 positive cases reported, 36 cases were detected in Dimapur, 28 in Mokokchung, 27 in Wokha, 16 in Kohima, 8 in Mon, 7 in Phek, 5 in Longleng and 3 each in Kiphire & Zunheboto .

The state recorded 153 recoveries, taking the total recovery tally in the state to 17,296, out of which, 46 recovered from Dimapur, 37 from Mokokchung, 28 from Tuensang, 9 from Zunheboto, 7 each from Kohima & Longleng, 6 from Phek and 3 from Wokha.

The state also reported 3 deaths related to COVID-19 on Tuesday, taking the death toll to 418. Out of 3 deaths, 2 are from Kohima and 1 from Mon, the department updated.
